At first glance, pickleball and kratom don’t have a lot in common… But a deeper conversation reveals how kratom might find a loyal following with the growing pickleball community.
Pickleball courts across the country are filled with people that make it their regular habit to play as often as possible. Many of these players are (a) working to be competitive, (b) would love more energy and focus on the court, or (c) working through some aches and pains. While we can’t claim that kratom can fulfill all of these needs, there are players who swear by it!
Please be mindful that Enhanciosa and it’s team members cannot not and do not make any medical claims about kratom use or its benefits. Always consult your physician before using any of our products!
Here is an interview with kratom user, pickleball player, and Enhanciosa Client, Andrew:
Enhanciosa: Thanks for sitting down with us. Can you tell us how long you’ve been using kratom and playing pickleball?
Andrew: Thanks for having me. I have been using kratom, as needed, for a few years now and I have been playing pickleball for two years.
E: So you where using kratom before you started playing pickleball? Why do you think it helps your pickleball game?
A: Yeah, my kratom use predates my pickleball addiction by about a year. I am not sure that kratom directly helps my pickleball game, but the indirect benefits seem pretty evident. For my pickleball game, I would like more focus, energy, and some mild pain management.
E: Can you elaborate on the pain side of things?
A: Sure. I have an autoimmune disorder which manifests as finger joint pain, kind of like arthritis. Hands and fingers obviously play a pretty critical role in pickleball. I have found that I am able to mitigate the hand pain to a large degree by regulating my diet, getting enough sleep, and supplementing with a little kratom.
E: At Enhanciosa, we don’t make any claims of medical benefits, but you’re saying that it helps you?
A: Perhaps it is the diet alone… But I think it does lend some aid.
E: You’ve been a customer of ours for sometime, what products do you like most?
A: Yeah. I enjoy white and green vein strains for energy and focus and red vein strains if I feel like I need a little pain help. I think they help.
E: And what about the focus and energy?
A: I find that I get a little boost in the mornings and on the courts if I use a white or green strain.
E: Does this help you be more competitive?
A: Maybe, but I feel like I play better, smarter pickleball when I am more relaxed and kratom definitely helps with that!
E: Any advice for other folks considering kratom to help with their pickleball?
A: Forehand gets the middle! Just kidding… That might be the worst pickleball advice. As it relates to kratom, I think each person should do what they think is right. Kratom has the ability to help a lot of people in a myriad of ways but I am not qualified to offer advice beyond my own experience.
