I received a question from a custom recently and I thought… We should have this conversation publicly, in case others are curious too.
Zachary L had a few questions (bold) and reached out:
Hey. I just got my package in and im really excited about it! Can I ask what the by weight and by volume labels actually mean? Some strains I have are as low as 2.50mg and the gold MD says 110.00mg. I am specifically looking at the 7- (whatever that long word is). Should I be calibrating my dose based on those ratios? I always have just used the same amount of Kratom (7 grams or so) So is the “gold” blend more potent than, say the white or green strains? Whenever I use a red strain, It doesn’t seem to work much at all in my case. I am not sure what that means exactly but I am trying to get a little insight. Any information you could provide me would be extremely helpful! Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing back from you…

I saw your facebook message a bit before I saw this so I shot you a reply there. You have added a few more questions here. I’ll do my best to address those.
The Gold capsules that we have in stock right now are batch CMDGold001. They have .75% Mitra (a little on the lower end as the range is typically .5-1.75%) and .022% 7-Hydroxy ( a bit on the higher end as the range is typically .001-.035%). Mitra and 7-hydroxy (I’ve abbreviated the names) are the active alkaloids in kratom and so the KCPA of Georgia requires that we test and report them to you via the label. All of our product test reports are accessible on the product description pages online.
The dosage instructions that we include are the same for all of our products and are based primarily on scholarly articles that we have found. Again, this is a label requirement of the KCPA. Since the potency of each product varies and each person might react differently, it is hard to create a one size fits all dosage instruction. We have done our best. Just speculating here… I would guess most people use a lot more than our recommended servings, but we cannot advise you in that area.
